What would you do? Business Process Services professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology. They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Business Process Services professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world. Accenture is seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Procurement Operations Specialist who will build exceptional client relationship management skills. You will develop strong project management skills and grow analytical problem solving capabilities. You will be part of Accenture’s market leading procurement organization driving significant and tangible value by impacting bottom line results that can support our client’s strategic objectives like sustainability, innovation growth.
What are we looking for? • Bachelor’s Degree • Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or managing suppliers • Bachelor’s Degree • Masters Business Administration • Formal training and/or experience in strategic sourcing • Knowledge of procurement operations • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint) • Experience in Procurement Operations, Finance Operations, Vendor Management, Risk & Compliance, or Third Party Risk • Exposure to SSPA / data protection / privacy / security controls is a strong plus • Willingness to complete SSPA-related certifications (sponsored, where applicable) • Experience supporting Microsoft or large global enterprises is advantageous Functional Skills • Strong understanding of supplier onboarding, compliance, and procurement governance • Knowledge of data privacy, information security, and third party risk management • Experience working with compliance portals / dashboards / procurement tools • Ability to interpret policy and translate it into operational actions Behavioral & Soft Skills • Excellent stakeholder communication and follow up skills • Strong attention to detail and risk awareness • Ability to manage work under tight SLA timelines • Willingness to learn and adapt in a high compliance, evolving domain • Comfortable working in US time zones / global operations
Roles and Responsibilities: • Maintain close relationships with clients in order to understand requirements • Validate and approve submitted requisitions as well as approving requisition submissions • Analysis of client spending trends • Recommendation of strategies to improve bottom line results • Leverage market leading technology assets to drive financial impact • Ensure effective customer and supplier relationships and serves as initial escalation point for issue resolution • Provide high quality procurement service to the client ensuring that contractual and SLA obligations are met for work within scope of role, report on activities, opportunities and risks • Active management of designated client • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement operations • Identify process improvements, cost savings and initiatives, document and raise with line manager for approval, then complete relevant actions/project • Maximize performance across the procurement function Increasing spend transparency, compliance and control • Enable organizations to reduce their overall cost of acquiring goods and services• Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end project cycles • Excellent organization/time management and problem solving skills • Good communication written and oral and interpersonal skills (needs to be able to build relationships over the phone without meeting suppliers / customers on a regular basis) • Strong project management and relationship-building skills • Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a wide range of suppliers • Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients • Ability to adapt to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers • Exceptional track record of building relationships with stakeholders or customers that have resulted in high customer satisfaction • High ownership and accountability • One step ahead of transactional buying roles • Requires judgment, interpretation, and supplier negotiation, not just processing
