Location: Maraimalai Nagar (Chengalpattu)
Shift: 8 Hours (Rotational / General Shift)
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 / Month
Experience: 6 Months to 3 Years
🎯 Role SummaryResponsible for Quality Assurance & Quality Control activities in manufacturing (valves / pumps), including inspection, documentation, and process monitoring.
- 🔧 Key Responsibilities1. Inspection & Quality ControlPerform:
- Incoming inspection
- In-process inspection
- Final inspection
- Ensure product meets drawing & quality standards
- Handle pre-dispatch inspection
👉 Flowserve QA roles focus heavily on inspection at all stages
- 2. Documentation & RecordsPrepare and maintain:
- QA documents
- Inspection reports
- QA dossier
- Verify Material Test Certificates (MTC)
- 3. Process & Audit SupportSupport:
- Internal quality audits
- Process audits
- Follow QAP / ITP procedures
- Maintain quality records as per standards
- 4. Third-Party & Customer CoordinationCoordinate with:
- Third-party inspection agencies
- Customer inspection teams
- Assist in inspection scheduling
- 5. Quality ImprovementIdentify defects & report issues
- Support corrective actions (CAPA)
- Work with production team for quality improvement
- 🧰 Required SkillsBasic knowledge of:
- Mechanical drawings
- Measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer)
- Understanding of:
- QA/QC processes
- Manufacturing (machining / assembly)
- Basic knowledge of:
- ISO / API standards (added advantage)
- MS Excel / basic reporting
- 🎓 QualificationDiploma / ITI / BE (Mechanical or related field)
- 💰 Salary Insight (Market Reality)Flowserve QA roles typically:
- ₹4L–₹9L per year for experienced candidates
- For 0–3 years experience, ₹18k–₹22k is normal entry-level range in Che
