Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of comprehensive solutions. The role focuses on accelerating project timelines by coordinating various aspects of the application lifecycle. Daily activities include continuous testing efforts that cover security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. The position also involves developing and implementing automation strategies, creating automated test scripts, and managing data and environment configurations. Regular participation in code reviews and defect monitoring supports ongoing enhancements to the testing process, ensuring high-quality outcomes throughout the development cycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to align testing activities with project goals.
- Assist in maintaining and improving testing frameworks and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing best practices.
- Monitor testing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the implementation of quality initiatives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and security testing.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
