Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive testing strategies that support the entire application lifecycle. This role focuses on integrating various disciplines to enhance delivery speed and maintain high-quality standards. The day includes continuous testing activities covering security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. Additionally, the role involves developing automation strategies, creating automated test scripts, and managing data and environment configurations. Active participation in code reviews and defect monitoring ensures ongoing improvements in testing processes and overall product quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to define and implement automation frameworks that enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Mentor junior team members to build their skills and support their professional growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing objectives with project goals and timelines.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to support automated testing.
- Familiarity with testing security aspects and API testing methodologies.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Skilled in managing test environments and configuring data to support various testing scenarios.

Additional Information:

- This position is based at our Chennai office.
