Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Good to have skills : Functional Test Planning

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and implementing key performance metrics to monitor testing activities, managing test execution, and ensuring timely resolution of defects, all while fostering collaboration across teams to achieve project goals efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead efforts to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall quality.
- Mentor and support junior team members to build their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of quality objectives with project goals.
- Monitor and report on testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex MXTest.
- Good To Have Skills: Functional Test Planning.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and software testing lifecycle.
- Experience in developing and implementing test strategies and plans.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential quality risks.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Murex MXTest.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
