Restaurant Captain

Manage daily front-of-house operations, lead the waitstaff, and act as the bridge between guests, servers, and the kitchen to ensure a flawless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Services & Satisfaction

• Greet, welcome, and seat guests, offering personalized menu recommendations and pairing suggestions.
• Proactively check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction with every course.
• Address guest concerns, handle complaints gracefully, and ensure swift resolutions. [1, 2, 3, 4]

2. Team Leadership & Training

• Lead pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials, VIP guest preferences, and operational targets.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior servers and support staff on service standards and protocols.
• Organize daily duty rosters and station assignments for the waitstaff.

3. Floor Operations & Coordination

• Manage reservations, floor plans, and seating arrangements to maximize table turnover and capacity.
• Coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, ensuring tables, cutlery, and linens meet high standards

4. Administration & Compliance

• Manage inventory of dining room supplies, tableware, and linens.
• Oversee billing processes and ensure payments are handled accurately.
• Enforce health, safety, and food sanitation regulations across the floor
