Job Description
Restaurant Service Captain – Job DescriptionThe Restaurant Service Captain supervises daily dining operations and ensures excellent guest service. This role leads service staff, coordinates with kitchen and bar teams, handles guest requests and complaints, and maintains service, hygiene, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support restaurant service staff.
- Ensure high-quality guest service and satisfaction.
- Coordinate food and beverage service operations.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints.
- Conduct shift briefings and assign duties.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards.
- Assist with order taking, serving, and billing when required.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of restaurant or hospitality experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Customer-focused with good problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant service procedures and standards.
