Job Description
Job Title: Retail Pharmacist / Assistant Pharmacist / Pharmacy Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medicines under the supervision of a registered pharmacist (where applicable).
- Assist in billing, inventory management, stock maintenance, and expiry checks.
- Arrange and maintain medicines on shelves.
- Guide customers regarding medicine availability and direct them appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
- Handle pharmacy software and billing systems.
- Support home delivery and medicine packing when required.
- Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff.
Eligibility:
- Retail Pharmacist: D.Pharm or B.Pharm with a valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Assistant Pharmacist / Pharmacy Assistant: D.Pharm (without registration, if applicable), B.Sc. (Life Sciences), M.Sc. (Life Sciences), Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, or other relevant science graduates.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.
- Good communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred.
