We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Lead to own technical delivery and full product lifecycle leadership across manufacturing and supply chain domains within an S/4HANA Private Cloud program. This role blends deep ABAP engineering authority with product and program management — managing the product from requirements analysis and concept definition through development, launch, and post-launch evolution. You will define an AI-augmented SDLC, govern modern developer workflows using agentic AI tooling and the ABAP MCP Server, and deliver scalable Clean Core solutions (ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS Views, AMDP, OData) while enabling SAP Business AI scenarios across S/4HANA and BTP.

• Own the technical product across all lifecycle stages —requirements analysis, development, launch, and ongoing post-launch management — for manufacturing and supply chain solutions.
• Work with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams to identify, prioritize, and design solutions for business requirements, rigorously prioritizing features to suit business and delivery conditions.
• Lead end-to-end ABAP design, delivery, and technical roadmap execution, supporting global multi-site rollout; own planning, estimation, risk, release, cutover, and go-live with clear visibility to program leadership.
• Partner with development teams to determine product functionality and with stakeholders to drive product positioning, adoption, and successful launch.
• Propose and implement an AI-augmented SDLC — defining how the team writes, reviews, and tests code using agentic AI tooling.
• Architect and govern MCP-based developer workflows using the ABAP MCP Server, internal tool registries, and approved LLM routing.
• Identify and enable SAP Business AI scenarios — embedded AI within S/4HANA and side-by-side extensions via BTP.
• Build and enforce Clean Core standards — RAP, CDS Views, released APIs, no core modifications; define solution architecture for extensions and integrations (IDocs, BADIs, Fiori, APIs) and prioritize/size RICEFW objects.
• Lead and mentor a team of ABAP developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and ensuring high-quality, standards-aligned delivery.

• 10+ years in SAP ABAP development, with 4+ years in S/4HANA or BTP ABAP, and a proven track record managing products and delivering roadmap milestones.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in ABAP OO, ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS Views, and AMDP for Clean Core extensions and HANA-native processing.
• Practical knowledge of GenAI and agentic AI in an SAP context — MCP, Joule for Developers, SAP AI Core, ISLM — able to propose an AI development enablement model.
• In-depth manufacturing/supply chain domain knowledge with strong project/program management skills across all SAP implementation phases — blueprint, build, data migration, cutover, go-live.
• Experience leading Agile, global onshore/offshore teams; familiarity with BTP Integration Suite, Event Mesh, SAP Build, and ADT.
• Excellent communication, client management, and presentation skills with a delivery-focused, growth mindset.

• PP/DS, MRP, MES integration exposure.
• Agentic IDE + ABAP experience — GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Amazon Q.
• SAP certifications in S/4HANA, BTP, or ABAP Cloud; Automotive industry experience.
