This role focuses on data cleansing, data preparation, enrichment, and governance of Service Master, Vendor Master, and Contract Master data to enable compliant, efficient end-to-end procurement across the supply chain value chain. The role is suitable for candidates from diverse industries such as Manufacturing, Chemicals, Pharma, FMCG, Engineering Services, Infrastructure, Utilities, and Energy.

What’s the role?

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute data cleansing, harmonisation, enrichment, and validation activities for Service, Vendor, and Contract master data as part of SAP ERP legacy to S4/HANA migration programs.
  • Manage end-to-end master data lifecycle: creation, maintenance, quality checks, governance, and readiness for cutover.
  • Translate procurement and supply chain business requirements into fit-for-purpose master data structures that enable sourcing, contracting, purchasing, invoicing, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Contracting, Finance, Legal, Operations, IT, and System Integrators to ensure data accuracy and business usability.
  • Apply a process-driven and data-centric mindset to identify how master data enables spend control, supplier performance, compliance, and operational execution.
  • Support project governance including scope clarity, milestone tracking, issue and risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure adherence to Data Quality Standards (DQS), validation rules, naming conventions, taxonomies, and reference data models.
  • Identify data risks, dependencies, and gaps; proactively mitigate issues impacting procurement or contract execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as data deduplication, standardisation, root cause analysis of defects, and process simplification.

What we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Industry experience beyond Oil & Gas is strongly encouraged (Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharma, Chemicals, Utilities, Infrastructure).
  • 4–8 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Migration, or Data Readiness roles supporting ERP / SAP programs.
  • Hands-on experience with Vendor Master, Service Master / Service Catalogs, and Contract / Pricing master data.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
  • Experience in SAP ERP and/or SAP S4/HANA; exposure to MDG, data migration tools, or data governance frameworks is an advantage.
  • Proven experience working in transformation programs, ERP rollouts, or system migrations.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in global, cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under tight timelines.

What This Role Offers

  • Opportunity to work on a once-in-a-generation S/4HANA transformation program.
  • High learning exposure across procurement, supply chain, and enterprise data domains.
  • Performance visibility with senior stakeholders and potential for repeat engagements.
  • Dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment.
