Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. The role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are addressed promptly, and maintaining a steady focus on project goals. The Scrum Master actively facilitates communication and collaboration within the team and across departments, while monitoring progress and promoting continuous improvement to help the team deliver high-quality results efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance their Agile maturity and productivity.
- Monitor project progress using relevant metrics and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending actionable solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Program Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution skills to manage team dynamics effectively.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage dependencies across multiple projects.
- Experience in tracking project performance metrics and using data to drive decision-making.
- Skilled in fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages transparency and accountability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Program Project Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
