Job Title: Senior Accounts Manager

Location: Broadway, Chennai

Experience Required: 5+ Years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage accounting operations, taxation compliance, banking transactions, vendor payments and import/export documentation. The ideal candidate should be hands on with Tally, GST, TDS, banking processes and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, cash book and bank book in Tally ERP

• Perform regular bank reconciliations

• Process vendor payments and maintain payment schedules

• Coordinate banking transactions including RTGS, NEFT, CMS and remittances

• Handle import/export documentation and coordinate with CHA agents

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and GSTR-9)

• Manage TDS deductions, filings and compliance

• Assist with payroll processing and employee payments

• Maintain inventory and stock reconciliation records

• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports

• Support statutory and internal audits

• Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, RBI and other applicable regulations

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• GST and TDS filing experience

• Bank reconciliation and vendor payment management

• Import/export documentation knowledge

• Good communication skills in English and Tamil

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred

• Experience in trading, distribution, logistics, import-export or commodity businesses

• Female candidates preferred

• B.Com / M.Com preferred
