Job Description

1. Impact You Can Create

  • Strategic Business Navigation: Act as a critical co-pilot to organizational leaders, transforming raw financial metrics into a strategic compass that drives operational efficiency and business growth.

  • Agile Forecasting: Master financial predictability across market shifts by engineering dynamic long-range plans, annual budgets, and agile quarterly outlooks.

  • Culture of Continuous Improvement: Adapt and scale internal workflows by proactively modernizing financial processes, breaking down system bottlenecks, and creating capacity for the business to scale seamlessly.

  • Informed Decision-Making: Empower executive leadership with clear visibility into near-term risks and long-term opportunities through high-impact presentations, reports, and real-time dashboards.

2. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Partnering: Build trust-based relationships across diverse business units, developing a deep understanding of operational drivers to serve as an indispensable collaborator.

  • Strategic Storytelling: Present performance insights and clear, actionable recommendations to business leaders, using data to influence the direction of the organization.

  • Operational Resource Management: Establish and manage end-to-end headcount approvals, tracking, and forecasting mechanisms, tying headcount investments directly to business outcomes.

  • Ambiguity Management: Comfortably navigate shifting priorities, executing independent financial research while working collaboratively to balance immediate requests with long-term goals.

  • Data Integration: Tie disparate operational metrics to core P&L outcomes, highlighting key dependencies, macro-trends, and cross-functional performance impacts.

3. Skills & Competencies

  • Learning Agility & Adaptability: A proven ability to learn on the fly, absorb complex business models quickly, and adapt financial frameworks to support new initiatives in fluid environments.

  • Systems & Process Innovation: Creative thinking with a strong drive to upgrade legacy systems, build adaptive dashboards, and optimize financial processes.

  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to articulate technical financial concepts into compelling business narratives for stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical Rigor: Strong quantitative skills paired with high analytical logic, allowing you to trace numbers back to real-world operational dependencies.

  • Collaborative Mindset: A positive attitude and strong work ethic, thriving both as an independent problem-solver and a cross-functional teammate.

4. Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional Timeline: 3-7 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, with a proven track record of supporting cross-functional teams.

  • Core Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputable institution.

  • Technical Domains: Strong foundation in GAAP accounting, P&L analysis, and corporate finance concepts. SaaS industry experience is highly preferred.

  • Execution Style: A highly driven self-starter who remains result-oriented and service-focused when dealing with high ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
