Senior Lead Engineer - VES
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Design, develop, and maintain vehicle diagnostic tools for End‑of‑Line (EOL) and Dealer environments, ensuring compliance with OEM and regulatory requirements.
Own and enhance end‑to‑end diagnostics functionality, including Diagnostic Tester, ECU Flashing and MIDA Based Toolings.
Ensure robustness, scalability, and long‑term maintainability of diagnostic applications across multiple products and vehicle programs.
Implement and validate diagnostic services using UDS (ISO 14229), KWP2000, and OBD standards across supported ECUs.
Define, implement, and validate FOTA (Firmware Over‑The‑Air) and SOVD (Service‑Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics) based ECU diagnostics developments in alignment with next‑generation vehicle architectures.

BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech - Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Electronics or Equivalent

KWP2000 (ISO 14230): Legacy ECU diagnostics support
OBD‑II / EOBD: Emissions diagnostics and regulatory compliance
DoIP (ISO 13400): Ethernet‑based diagnostics for next‑generation vehicles
CAN / CAN FD / LIN: Diagnostics transport layer and ECU communication
Next‑Generation Diagnostics
FOTA (Firmware Over‑The‑Air): Diagnostics readiness, validation, and ECU support
SOVD (Service‑Oriented Vehicle Diagnostics): Service discovery, execution, and ECU interaction
Diagnostics enablement for software‑defined and connected vehicle architectures
Frontend Technology (Diagnostics UI)
Angular 14+ based diagnostics tool UI
Angular Reactive Forms, data binding, and validations
Diagnostics workflow execution using UI state and command patterns
Role‑based diagnostics UI and access control
Backend & Platform Technology
.NET Core 6.0 based backend services
RESTful APIs (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) for diagnostics operations
Entity Framework Core with LINQ
Modular service design aligned to SOLID architectural principles
Database & Deployment Infrastructure
MSSQL schema design and query optimization
Diagnostics data storage and reporting
Deployment in AWS Cloud environments
Diagnostics & Communication Tooling
Vector CANoe / CANalyzer for diagnostics validation and debugging
ECU communication tracing and diagnostics issue analysis
