Senior Lead Engineer - VES

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Should be capable of leading the team from front for overall delivery.
Should know the design concepts and future technologies from global market and execution of the same 
Should be able to visualize and develop design concepts within the consideration of  functional requirement (design / cost / weight targets), position (spatial arrangement, interactions, boundary conditions), geometry (dimension/tolerance etc.), gap and flushness considering the vehicle level requirements/ constraints of systems/subsystems (as an input to the SOR) and thereby executing first time innovative solutions and
Should have done extensive benchmarking of  Switches and its user interface. 
Should be able to work on POC for future technologies.
Should capture all technical requirements on SOR, DVP,TSO, TKO meeting all functional, interface quality & regulatory standards/requirements with in project time line.
Interact with supplier from concept to SOP capturing all SOR requirements. 
Address and assist team for build & validation issues until SOP.
Managing and tracking of design release, development, validation & field failures 
Review & release technical specifications & other documentations 
Should have extensive  knowledge in capacitive switches CAD packaging and Design
Thorough Knowledge in CAE Thermal, Vibraton & Condensations 
Should know how to design and lead team on Electronics hardware/software. LIN/CAN communication. 
Knowledge in Wiring harness routing and selection of harness requirement for various design requirements
Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability, 
Usage of  tools used in  DFMEA, problem solving technique and project management tools 
Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, project etc.
should know to handle CATIA for leading the team by showing necessary section and model requirement.

Experience

10-15years

Industry Preferred

Any other OEM or Tier I like Marquardt, LS Automotive , KOSTAL, Tata, VW, Mercedez, BMW, Skoda

Qualifications

BE/B Tech Mechanical Engineering
BE/B Tech Automobile engineering
BE/B Tech Mechatronics Engineering 

General Requirements

Interfacing with all inter dept teams right from marketing to service as so to start from understanding the marketing requirements and till service related activities. i.e., from start to end of project

Abreast on latest technologies across industry

Maintaining quality level tragets as per agreement

Adhering to committed timelines 

Program management & detailed documentation 

Open to short/medium term travel on need basis, across India & overseas
