Senior Support Engineer, Chennai

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of multi-cloud solutions across Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will serve as a technical authority, driving cloud strategy, architecture, and automation initiatives to ensure scalability, security, and operational excellence. 

Responsibilities 

• Cloud Architecture & Design: 
• Develop and maintain enterprise-grade cloud architectures across Azure, GCP, and AWS. 
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements. 
• Automation & Infrastructure as Code: 
• Implement automation frameworks using Git and Python for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning. 
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar. 
• Multi-Cloud Strategy & Governance: 
• Define and enforce best practices for multi-cloud deployments, cost optimization, and governance. 
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to maintain regulatory standards. 
• Performance & Reliability: 
• Monitor and optimize cloud environments for high availability and disaster recovery. 
• Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and cloud platforms. 
• Leadership & Mentorship: 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams. 
• Influence cloud adoption strategies and roadmap planning at an enterprise level. 

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cloud engineering or architecture roles. 
• Deep expertise in GCP (must), Azure and AWS services and architectures. 
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and version control systems such as Git. 
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.). 
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 
• Soft Skills:  
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities. 
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Certifications in Azure, AWS, and GCP (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect). 
• Experience with FinOps and cost optimization strategies. 
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
