Software Analyst

In this role, you will leverage your deep technical expertise in .NET Core MVC, API development, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build scalable solutions. A strong focus of this role involves DevSecOps practices, including managing CI/CD pipelines, addressing API security validations, and remediating code violations. You will also oversee ETL pipelines, monitor daily system jobs, and interact directly with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Application & API Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications and seamless API connectivity using .NET Core MVC and PostgreSQL.
• Security & Compliance (DevSecOps): Ensure high security standards by actively running and addressing 42Crunch API related validations and promptly resolving Cycode violations (e.g., hardcoded secrets, code security issues).
• Data Integration & ETL: Design, build, and manage efficient ETL/ELT data pipelines using GCP Cloud Data Fusion to ensure seamless enterprise data flow.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Provision, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) utilizing Terraform scripts.
• CI/CD Management: Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub and Tekton to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient release cycles.
• Operations & Monitoring: Actively monitor automated jobs, system performance, and application health on a daily basis to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• User Support & Issue Resolution: Act as a senior technical escalation point. Interact directly with end-users to understand their challenges, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Draw on your extensive IT experience to guide technical decisions, enforce secure coding best practices, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering team using Jira for Agile workflows.

• Overall Experience: 15+ years of proven experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in software development, systems architecture, and production support.
• Cloud Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• DevOps Experience: 5+ years of experience working with modern DevOps tools and practices, specifically GitHub, Tekton, and Jira/Rally.
• Development & APIs: Expert-level proficiency in .NET Core MVC development with strong, demonstrated knowledge of API connectivity, consumption, and creation via .NET Core.
• Application Security: Practical experience with code and API security tooling; specifically required to know how to interpret and address 42Crunch API validations and Cycode security violations.
• Database & ETL: Strong hands-on experience designing and managing relational databases with PostgreSQL, coupled with technical knowledge of GCP Cloud Data Fusion for enterprise ETL processes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact professionally and empathetically with end-users and non-technical stakeholders.
