About Job

Mobile Engineer – .NET MAUI / .NET for Android, Chennai.

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer who is highly handson and codes fulltime, with strong expertise in .NET MAUI and .NET for Android (C#), Android and Xamarin. The role involves building and maintaining scalable, highperformance mobile applications. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain MAUI mobile applications using C# and .NET 
  • Implement Androidspecific functionality using .NET for Android 
  • Own features endtoend: development, testing, release, and production support 
  • Apply strong understanding of mobile lifecycle, async programming, and threading 
  • Optimize app startup time, memory usage, and UI performance 
  • Write clean, testable code and contribute to unit test coverage 
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET 
  • Handson experience with .NET MAUI 
  • Strong experience with .NET for Android, Xamarin 
  • Android lifecycle and background processing 
  • Permissions, intents, and platform constraints 
  • Solid understanding of async/await, concurrency, and threading 
  • Experience with REST APIs, local storage, and offline support 
  • Strong debugging and production issue handling skills  
  • Experience writing unit tests for View Models and services 
  • Knowledge of testable architecture and dependency injection 
  • Experience analysing crashes, ANRs, and performance issues.
  • Strong architectural judgment with a pragmatic approach 
  • Performance and quality driven mindset 
  • Ownership of code and production stability
