R&D unit in KTI is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as KONE 24/7 Connected Services, Office Flow and Partnership Ecosystem. Our common goal at KONE is to keep the end users safe and people flow uninterrupted. KONE moves 2 billion people every day and that means our services can really make cities better places to live

Why this role?

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Specialist who will play a key role in strengthening our quality engineering practices. In this role, you will design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases, support CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks, collaborate closely with developers on defect resolution, drive regression analysis to ensure reliable and high-quality project delivery, and maintain and upgrade test environments in line with release content. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with modern test tools and contribute directly to product quality and continuous improvement.

What will you be doing?

• Plan, design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure effective test coverage and quality validation
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, Python libraries, and test automation frameworks to support reliable and scalable test execution
• Work closely with developers on test development, defect identification, troubleshooting, and resolution activities
• Prepare regression analysis reports and contribute to timely, high-quality project delivery through continuous quality monitoring
• Own regression testing and maintain and upgrade test environments in alignment with release content and project needs

                                           

Required Skills:

• Good knowledge in Robot Framework, Jenkins, Git, Groovy.
• Strong Knowledge in Python & Beckhoff systems
• Elicit Customer requirements to test plan and test case design
• Knowledge of agile methodologies, Defect life cycle, STLC
• Maintain 5S & Safety work culture in Laboratory.

Preferred Skills:

• Data Analytics, AI & ML expertise adds value
• Elevator & Escalator knowledge is added advantage to this profile.
• Knowledge of KONE Products and Processes.

Are you the one?

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ECE/CSE/IT) / MCA / MSC Computer science
• 6-8 years of Relevant experience
• Good Debugging, Troubleshooting and Analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to procedure and guidelines.
• Self-motivated and self-driven person
