About the Role

Aroma Enterprises operates flavour & fragrance spray drying lines — converting liquid flavour/fragrance concentrates and encapsulation formulations (emulsions with carriers like maltodextrin/gum arabic) into stable powder form. We need an operator with hands-on spray dryer experience — not general machine-operating experience — who can join within 10 days.

Responsibilities

1. Start up, operate, and monitor the spray dryer during production — control feed rate, atomizer speed/pressure, and inlet/outlet air temperature to hold product within spec.
2. Perform in-process checks on powder moisture, bulk density, and particle quality; record readings on shift log/batch sheets per SOP.
3. Troubleshoot process deviations (blockages, temperature swings, feed irregularities) and report faults to the supervisor immediately.
4. Pack and sort collected powder into bags; maintain accurate batch/yield records.
5. Wash and clean the spray dryer, cyclone separator, and associated equipment after each batch.
6. Follow housekeeping and dust-control discipline (5S) — spray-dried powders are combustible and aroma/flavour compounds can be volatile; strict cleanliness, ventilation, and hot-surface awareness are safety-critical, not optional.
7. Calibrate and verify weighing/measuring equipment before each shift.
8. Assist in daily production batch planning.
9. Carry out routine preventive maintenance checks per PM schedule.

Requirements

• Spray dryer operating experience is mandatory — minimum 1–3 years, specifically on a spray dryer (not general production/packing-line experience). Please be ready to name the plant, dryer type, and your specific duties.
• Qualification: ITI (Attendant Operator – Chemical Plant preferred) / Diploma / 12th Pass.
• Working knowledge of process parameters: feed rate, atomizer control, inlet/outlet temperature, moisture monitoring.
• Understanding of basic machine safety and combustible-dust handling precautions.
• Able to work Morning and Afternoon shifts.
• Punctual, responsible, safety-conscious.
• Language: English (must), Tamil/Hindi.
