Job Description
As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing stainless steel sheets, tubes, and components to create commercial kitchen equipment (such as burners, tables, sinks, counters, and exhaust hoods). Because our products are used in the food industry, a heavy emphasis is placed on clean, defect-free, and highly polished welds that meet strict hygiene and aesthetic standards.
- Key ResponsibilitiesWelding & Fabrication: Perform high-quality TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on thin-gauge stainless steel (typically 304 and 316 grades).
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to fabricate equipment accurately.
- Finishing & Grinding: Polish, grind, and clean welds to achieve a seamless, mirror, or matte finish required for commercial kitchen hygiene standards (no crevices for bacteria growth).
- Assembly & Fitting: Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamping fixtures before welding.
- Quality Control: Inspect welds for cracks, burns, or deformities. Ensure all finished products meet company quality benchmarks.
- Maintenance: Safely operate and maintain welding machines, gas regulators, and workshop tools.
