Vehicle Housekeeping & Linen Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Cleanliness & Housekeeping

• Ensure all buses are cleaned and prepared before deployment.
• Monitor daily interior and exterior cleaning of buses.
• Conduct periodic deep cleaning of buses as per schedule.
• Ensure washrooms (where applicable) are hygienic and stocked with consumables.
• Check and maintain cleanliness of seats, sleeper berths, curtains, windows, flooring, luggage racks, and driver cabin.
• Ensure removal of stains, odors, and dust from buses.

Linen Management

• Manage issuance, collection, and tracking of:
• Bed sheets
• Blankets
• Pillow covers
• Towels (if applicable)
• Ensure linen is replaced after every trip as per company standards.
• Coordinate with laundry vendors for washing and timely return of linen.
• Maintain linen inventory and prevent shortages or losses.
• Track damaged, torn, or missing linen and arrange replacements.

Deep Cleaning & Maintenance Coordination

• Plan and execute weekly and monthly deep-cleaning schedules.
• Coordinate upholstery cleaning, curtain washing, mattress cleaning, and sanitization activities.
• Arrange pest control and fumigation whenever required.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for repair of damaged interiors and fittings.

Inventory & Consumables Management

• Maintain stock of:
• Cleaning chemicals
• Tissue papers
• Air fresheners
• Garbage bags
• Sanitizers
• Cleaning equipment
• Ensure adequate stock levels and raise purchase requests in advance.
• Monitor consumption and prevent wastage.

Quality Control & Reporting

• Conduct pre-dispatch cleanliness inspections.
• Maintain housekeeping checklists for every vehicle.
• Record cleaning schedules and compliance reports.
• Report damages, hygiene issues, and non-compliance immediately.
• Track passenger complaints related to cleanliness and implement corrective actions.

Team Coordination

• Supervise housekeeping staff and cleaning contractors.
• Allocate cleaning tasks and monitor completion.
• Train staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safety practices.
• Ensure housekeeping activities are completed within turnaround times.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in housekeeping, facility management, hospitality, fleet operations, or related fields.
• Experience in managing cleaning staff and vendors is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and reporting.
• Ability to work in shifts and during night operations.
• Good organizational and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
