VMC/CNC Programmer & Setter needed for Buhin Tech - Auto-Parts manufacturer (Machine Shop) in Marai Malai Nagar, Chengalpattu - 603103

Product End users: Maruthi Suzuki/Volvo/Yamaha/TVS/Bajaj

Your role is a "Start-to-Finish" responsibility for the CNC/VMC section. Your duties include, but are not limited to:

·        Pre-Production: Studying customer drawings, evaluating technical feasibility, designing machining processes, and developing necessary tooling and fixtures.

·        Sample Development: Writing and optimizing G-Code/M-Code, material sourcing (RM), developing samples, and preparing full APQP/PPAP documentation for customer approval.

·        Production Management: Responsible for machine scheduling, manpower planning, and FG (Finished Goods) stock management based on monthly schedules.

·        Operational Hands-on Requirement: You are expected to maintain 100% machine utilization. When setting, programming, or maintenance tasks are complete, you are required to operate the machines personally. Idleness is not permitted; you will run the CNC or VMC as required by production needs.

·        Quality & Efficiency: You are responsible for zero customer complaints, 100% on-time delivery, controlling in-house rejections, and maximizing operator efficiency.

·        Departmental Growth: You are responsible for achieving defined sales and profitability targets for the CNC/VMC section.

·        Cross-Functional Support: When required, you will assist with quality control, setting or maintenance work in the Auto-Lathe, SPM, or other sections of the factory.

·        Compliance: Maintaining all relevant ISO/customer records and leading the section during internal or customer audits.

Requirements:

12th Pass/ITI/Diploma/BE - with previous work experience in CNC and VMC programming, development, setting & production.
