Role

As the Team Manager -Weld Shop (FT) you will be part of the Operations and will report to the Section Head - Weld Shop The purpose of your role will be to manage production line target as per business plan and to achieve zero failure in section.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

1. To adhere shift wise production plan of fuel tank

2. To ensure quality requirement of product and processes

3. New Model coordination and Process improvement

4.Manpower Skill Enhancement at to ensure required competency availability in shop.

A Day in the life

Preparation of Manpower as per planning. Maintain check on process parameters of Critical equipment . Production planning of Shift in line with PPC plan. Maintain Product and process Quality requirement. Documentation and reporting of Production

Academic Qualification & Experience

1. B.Tech / B.E (Mechanical) with 4 to 7 Years of Expereince
2. Diploma in Mechnical Engg with 12 to 15 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Thorough knowledge of Welding Technology (MIG Welding, Seam Welding, Spot Welding).
2. Thorough knowledge of systems like TPM,5S, DWM etc.
3. Expertise in budgeting and resource optimization.
4. Technical Expertise in finishing operations
5. Technical expertise in operation, trouble shooting and teaching/programming of Welding robots (Panasonic and OTC robots)
6. Experience in Enterprise resource Management software (SAP, PLM).
7. Exposure of Total Productive Maintenance(TPM), ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018 and IATF 16949:2016.
8. Experience of handling gender diverse workforce

Behavioural Skills

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills
4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach
5. planning and decision making.
