Assistant Manager - Material & Production Planning
1?? Production Planning & Scheduling
Prepare daily / weekly production plans based on customer demand and available capacity.
2?? MRP & Work Order Release
Run MRP, generate purchase requisitions, and release work orders without delay.
3?? Capacity & Line Loading
Balance SMT lines, assembly, testing capacity and manpower to meet output targets.
4?? Material Availability Control
Ensure 100% material readiness before line start to avoid line stoppage.
5?? Inventory Management
Control RM, WIP, and FG inventory levels; avoid excess, shortage, and obsolete stock.
6?? Stores Operations Management
Manage inward inspection coordination, proper storage (FIFO/FEFO), binning, and traceability.
7?? Shortage & Risk Management
Track daily shortages and coordinate with procurement for expediting critical parts.
8?? Dispatch & Delivery Adherence
Ensure on-time dispatch as per committed delivery schedule.
9?? ERP / MES Compliance
Maintain accurate system transactions (GRN, issue, return, stock reconciliation).
? Continuous Improvement & KPI Monitoring
Monitor OTD, inventory turnover, plan vs actual, and implement improvements to reduce lead time and waste.
