Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components and applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives and continuous improvement of existing systems are integral parts of the daily workflow, fostering innovation and responsiveness to evolving requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the coordination of project activities to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Data Services Development.
- Strong knowledge of data integration and transformation techniques within enterprise environments.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable data workflows and pipelines.
- Familiarity with debugging, performance tuning, and optimizing data processing jobs.
- Ability to work with complex data structures and ensure data quality and consistency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
