About the role
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer who can independently design and build scalable data pipelines and contribute to end-to-end data platform development.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement data pipelines using Databricks / Snowflake
Develop scalable data transformations using PySpark / Spark SQL
Optimize complex SQL queries and data models
Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows
Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, streaming sources)
Ensure data quality, governance, and performance tuning
Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in SQL and Python Experience with Apache Spark ( PySpark preferred) Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake Good understanding of data warehousing (Star/Snowflake schema) Experience with orchestration tools ( Airflow / ADF / Prefect ) Experience in cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
Good to Have Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka / Spark Streaming) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
Experience
6–8 years overall experience
Databrick Certification is a plus
