As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves executing comprehensive data migration activities by carefully extracting, transforming, and loading data into designated target systems following established guidelines. The role includes building, running, and validating migration scripts and processes to maintain high standards of data quality and consistency. Throughout the day, the engineer collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure smooth data transitions and addresses any challenges that arise during the migration process, ensuring that the data integrity is preserved and the migration objectives are met efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of data migration strategies to align with project goals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading techniques within cloud-based data warehousing environments.
- Experience in developing, testing, and optimizing migration scripts to ensure efficient data processing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies and migration-related issues.
- Familiarity with data validation methods to guarantee accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
- Understanding of database structures, data modeling, and performance tuning in data warehouse systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
