Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models are accurate, efficient, and scalable, supporting both current operations and future growth. The Data Modeler plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation by facilitating clear communication and thorough analysis of data requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to ensure data models meet organizational standards and best practices.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data modeling activities with project goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience in designing and implementing complex data models that support business intelligence and analytics.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data integration techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data structures for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and consistency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
