Job Description
Job Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee the reliability and performance of our production machinery. You will be responsible for developing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting complex mechanical/electrical issues, and leading a team of technicians to ensure zero downtime in our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Reliability: Develop and execute a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule for all plant equipment.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Lead the diagnosis of root causes for equipment failures and implement long-term engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Operational Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and industrial regulations.
- Resource Management: Manage the maintenance budget, source spare parts, and oversee external vendors or contractors.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation or equipment upgrades to increase energy efficiency and production output.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of repairs, inspections, and equipment history using basic Microsoft Excel and in future with CMMS software.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power distribution.
- Software: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and maintenance management software (e.g., SAP PM, UpKeep).
