Job SummaryThe Roto Moulding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily rotational moulding operations, ensuring production targets, product quality, machine efficiency, safety compliance, and manpower management. The role involves supervising operators, monitoring production schedules, reducing wastage, and maintaining optimum machine performance to achieve organizational goals.

• Key ResponsibilitiesProduction ManagementSupervise and coordinate all roto moulding production activities.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are achieved.
• Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
• Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
• Ensure adherence to production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Quality ControlEnsure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor moulding parameters and process controls.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and identify defects.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce rejections.
• Coordinate with the Quality Department for quality improvement initiatives.
• Machine & Process ManagementMonitor the operation of rotational moulding machines, ovens, cooling stations, and associated equipment.
• Ensure proper mould setup, changeovers, and process optimization.
• Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Maintain machine performance records and production reports.
• Safety & ComplianceEnforce workplace safety procedures and company policies.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by all employees.
• Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Maintain compliance with statutory and environmental regulations.
• Team ManagementSupervise machine operators, helpers, and production workers.
• Train new employees on roto moulding processes and safety procedures.
• Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and performance.
• Conduct skill development and continuous improvement activities.
• Inventory & Material ControlMonitor raw material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Coordinate with stores for material availability.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, moulds, and finished goods.
• Maintain production and material consumption records.
• Required QualificationsDiploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Polymer Technology, or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in rotational moulding operations.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing industries preferred.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of rotational moulding processes.
• Knowledge of polyethylene materials and processing parameters.
