Purchase Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages.
• Negotiate prices and payment terms when required.
• Resolve supply, quality, or delivery issues with vendors.
• Work closely with accounts and warehouse teams for invoice matching and goods receipt.
• Prepare procurement reports and maintain supplier databases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (preferred).
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and purchasing software/ERP systems.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
