Robotics Engineer

A Robotics Engineer operates at the intersection of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering. Their primary goal is to design, build, and maintain machines (robots) that can perform tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously to improve efficiency, safety, and productivity.

• Core ResponsibilitiesDesign & Development: Conceptualize robotic systems using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to create blueprints for mechanical parts, drive systems, and end-effectors.
• Programming: Develop and debug the "brain" of the robot using languages like C++, Python, or MATLAB. This includes writing algorithms for motion control, path planning, and computer vision.
• Sensor Integration: Calibrate and integrate sensors (LIDAR, ultrasonic, cameras) to ensure the robot can perceive and navigate its environment accurately.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Build prototypes and run rigorous simulations to identify hardware failures or software bugs before real-world deployment.
• Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams, including software developers, data scientists, and project managers, to align the robot's capabilities with specific industry needs.
