SAP FI Consultant with SD-FI Integration & RAR Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Financial Accounting (FI) specialist with specific expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) to FI integration and Revenue Accounting and Recognition (RAR). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP FI configuration, customizing, and ongoing support, with a proven track record in managing complex financial processes within the SAP ERP environment.
Responsibilities:

1. Configure, customize, and maintain SAP FI modules, ensuring they align with business requirements and financial regulations.
2. Actively manage and support the integration of SAP SD and FI modules, ensuring seamless flow of data from sales to finance.
3. Lead or participate in SAP upgrades, enhancements, and migrations related to FI, SD, and RAR processes.
4. Develop and implement SAP solutions to improve financial reporting, close processes, and overall operational efficiency.
5. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including SD, HR, and Controlling, to ensure consistent data and process standards.
6. Provide expert advice and guidance on SAP FI, SD, and RAR processes, including best practices and optimization strategies.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve complex FI, SD, and RAR issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
8. Provide training and support to end-users on SAP FI, SD, and RAR processes and tools.
9. Document and communicate system changes, configurations, and processes clearly and effectively.
10. Stay current with SAP FI, SD, and RAR developments, and share knowledge within the organization.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA would be advantageous.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP FI, with a focus on SD to FI integration and RAR.
3. SAP FI certification is highly preferred.
4. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, financial regulations, and SAP best practices.
5. Proven experience in SAP project implementation, upgrades, or support.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization.
8. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
