Job Summary:The Stock Auditor is responsible for verifying inventory accuracy by conducting physical stock audits, identifying discrepancies, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining proper stock control across branches and warehouses.

• Key Responsibilities:Conduct periodic and surprise stock audits at branches and warehouses.
• Verify physical stock against system records.
• Identify stock shortages, excesses, damages, and discrepancies.
• Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
• Investigate stock variances and coordinate with concerned departments for resolution.
• Monitor inward and outward stock movements.
• Verify stock transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Ensure proper documentation of inventory transactions.
• Support management with inventory analysis and loss prevention initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of audit findings.
• Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in stock audit, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
• Freshers with relevant knowledge may also apply.
• Required Skills:Knowledge of inventory management and stock auditing.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel for branch audits.
• Preferred Qualifications:Experience in retail, electronics, furniture, FMCG, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of audit procedures and internal controls.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Accuracy of stock verification.
• Timely completion of audit schedules.
• Reduction in inventory discrepancies.
• Quality and timeliness of audit reports.
• Compliance with inventory policies and procedures.
• Working Conditions:Frequent travel to branches and warehouses.
• Ability to conduct physical inventory verification.
• Willingness to work flexible hours during stock audits.
