Insurance Agent/Advisor

Job Summary

An Insurance Agent/Advisor is responsible for identifying client insurance needs, recommending appropriate coverage options, and building long-term relationships to ensure financial protection and risk management. The role involves sales, customer service, policy management, and ongoing advisory support.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting
• Assess clients’ financial status and insurance needs
• Recommend suitable insurance products (life, health, auto, property, business, etc.)
• Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and pricing clearly
• Prepare and present insurance proposals and quotations
• Assist clients with policy applications and documentation
• Maintain accurate client records and policy information
• Provide after-sales service, including policy renewals and updates
• Support clients during claims processes and follow up until resolution
