Job Description

Process Engineer

Role Purpose

 

Be responsible for the new processes and product industrialisation. Be a bridge between the design and production departments. Be the technical expert for the process and method activities. Be the insurance of the process compliance. Through projects, work in mid and long-term continuous improvements to define and optimise the future means and methods of production.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

·       Expert knowledge in Single Fibre & Multi Fibre Termination

·       Expertise in MPO & MMC termination

·       Process creation, qualification & implementation (SF & MF)

·       Conduct Process Study.

·       Preparing Process Documents (PFD, PFMEA, WI, PSS etc…)

·       Process Improvement (Rejection, Rework/FPY).

·       Develop and implement method & process production to maximize time, equipment and people in all production process.

·       Develop alternatives and studies to modify equipment and introducing new methods to reduce production cost.

·       Research tools and equipment utilized in production process to maximise people, time and machines production process.

·       Responsible for managing product yield.

·       Responsible for new product trials and related documentation.

·       Elaborate action plan to prevent non conformity product situation.

·       Trouble shooting process /Equipment/ Machines when error occurs.

·       Working on improvement projects related to automation, efficiency improvement and yield improvement.

·       Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of the situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors.

·       Actively participate in activities that require frequent time spent on the shop floor.

·       Play a vital role in reducing consumable usage and cost reduction plan.

·       Stop the production (Quality & Process Risk).

 

Skills Required

 

·       Good knowledge of optical fibres & Optical communication

·       Excellent communication/leadership skills.

·       Must have people skills and have strong potential for strong leadership development.

·       Excellent coordinator and good pedagogy mind.

·       Leaner.

·       Data-treatment capability.

·       Good redactional skill.

·       Expert in MS Office.

·       Excellent analytical skill

·       Proactive & reactive

 

Qualification Required

 

Degree: BE/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Optoelectronics/Photonics, Telecommunication or Mechanical Engineering.
