Job Title: Assembly Fitter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Assembly Fitter to assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and equipment. The candidate will ensure that all parts are fitted accurately and function efficiently according to technical specifications and quality standards.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Assemble mechanical parts, tools, or machinery components
• Use hand tools and power tools for fitting and assembly work
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure proper alignment and fitting
• Perform adjustments, repairs, and replacements of components
• Conduct testing of assembled equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality teams to meet production targets
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Knowledge of mechanical components and assembly processes
• Proficiency in using hand tools (spanners, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Education & Experience:
• ITI (Fitter) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in assembly/fitting work (freshers may be considered for trainee roles)
• Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with quality standards and inspection processes
