Quality Control Engineer

Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance (QA)

• Develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BIS, and company quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits and support external certification audits.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA processes.
• Coordinate with production teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Train production and inspection teams on quality standards and documentation.
• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished water purifiers.
• Monitor production activities to maintain quality compliance.
• Conduct functional testing such as leak testing, filtration performance, flow rate, and TDS reduction.
• Maintain inspection reports, testing records, and non-conformance documentation.
• Ensure calibration and proper usage of testing instruments and measurement tools.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing industry.
• Preferred experience in water purifier, water treatment, home appliances, or related industries.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, BIS standards, and quality tools like FMEA, SPC, 5 Why, and Fishbone Analysis.
• Good communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of RO/UV/UF water purification technologies will be an added advantage.
• Six Sigma or CQE certification preferred.
