Mechanical Design Engineer

EDI Enterprise Pvt Ltd is manufacturer of various material handling equipments like Weighing & Bagging machines, Conveyors, Belt feeders, Storage hoppers, etc.

Looking for Candidate with Mechanical Designing Background having knowledge in Solid Edge / Solidworks, AutoCad. Understanding of Mechanical GA Drawings, Detailed Drawings, Fabrication drawings, assembly designing, etc.

JD:

1. Create new mechanical designs or modify existing ones for products, systems.

2. Create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for components and assemblies using CAD software, ensuring designs are technically accurate and manufacturable.

3. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation (blueprints).

4. Prepare nesting drawings.

5. Provide technical expertise during production and assembly, resolving site issues.

6. Liaise with the shop floor, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensure design specifications are understood and met, providing technical support to resolve production issues.

7. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly instructions

8. Proactively identify and implement design improvements to enhance product efficiency, reduce costs (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly - DFMA), and improve overall quality.
