Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Detailing: Prepare accurate General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for PEB structures (including primary framing, secondary framing, sheeting, and accessories).
• 3D Modeling: Develop detailed 3D models of structural steel components using industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla Structures, AutoCAD).
• BOM Preparation: Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and cutting lists for procurement and manufacturing teams.
• Quality Assurance: Review and check structural drawings to ensure compliance with architectural plans, structural design codes (IS, AISC, MBMA), and client specifications.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with structural engineers, project managers, and the fabrication shop floor to resolve any design discrepancies and ensure smooth production.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and structural documents throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, welding symbols, connection details, and structural load distributions.
