CNC Machine Operator

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CNC Operator to operate Computer Numerical Control machines for precision machining of components. The candidate will be responsible for machine setup, loading/unloading jobs, tool handling, quality inspection, and ensuring production as per drawing specifications.

The role requires good understanding of machining processes, engineering drawings, measuring instruments, and basic machine maintenance.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machines such as CNC turning, CNC milling, VMC, or HMC machines.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, job cards, and machining instructions.
• Load raw material/workpieces properly into the machine.
• Set tools, offsets, fixtures, and work coordinates as per requirement.
• Run CNC programs and monitor machine operations.
• Check dimensions using measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, and dial indicator.
• Ensure components are produced within required tolerance and quality standards.
• Identify and report machining issues, tool wear, vibration, dimensional variation, or machine errors.
• Perform basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain production records, inspection reports, and daily output logs.
• Follow safety standards and use proper PPE during machine operation.
• Coordinate with supervisors, programmers, quality inspectors, and maintenance teams.
• Reduce rejection, rework, tool damage, and machine downtime.
