Job Description

  • Design & Planning: Conduct wireless site surveys (predictive, passive, and active) using tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet to determine AP placement and ensure optimal coverage.
  • Implementation: Install, configure, and maintain wireless access points, controllers, and related hardware.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex Wi-Fi issues, including connectivity drops, low signal strength, and authentication failures (802.1x).
  • Network Optimization: Analyze radio frequency (RF) spectrum data, manage channel assignments, and reduce interference to improve performance.
  • Security Management: Configure and secure wireless networks using protocols like WPA2/WPA3, PEAP, and EAP-TLS, often integrating with RADIUS servers (e.g., Cisco ISE).
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for network topology, standar
