Maintenance Technician

Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Job Type: Full-time / Retainer

Experience Required: 2 to 5 years in hydraulic lifts, elevators, or automated parking systems. [1]

We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Maintenance Technician based in or around Dehradun to manage the regular check-ups, lubrication, testing, and troubleshooting of our multi-level mechanical hydraulic car parking machines. Your main goal will be to keep the hydraulic platforms running safely and eliminate sudden breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regular Check-ups & Preventative Care

• Perform scheduled weekly and monthly inspections of all hydraulic car parking lifts.
• Check hydraulic oil levels, inspect for fluid leaks in valves or cylinders, and top off fluids when needed.
• Tighten structural bolts, check alignment of lift platforms, and lubricate moving chains, rollers, and guide rails.

2. Fault Diagnosis & Repairs.

• Troubleshoot system errors, slow lifting speeds, or pressure drops in the hydraulic lines.
• Repair or replace broken components like hydraulic seals, hoses, limit switches, and fuses.
• Test emergency lowering valves and safety lock-blocks to ensure they engage correctly to prevent cars from slipping. [1, 2]

3. Safety & Record Keeping

• Keep an active logbook of every service check, oil change, and repair performed.
• Ensure operations match basic safety standards to protect both the operator and the vehicles.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Technical Background: ITI certification or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile Engineering.
• Hydraulic Expertise: Strong hands-on experience working with hydraulic pumps, power packs, cylinders, hoses, and pressure valves.
• Experience: Prior experience servicing car workshop lifts, commercial elevator systems, or stack/puzzle parking systems.
• Local Availability: Must live in or close to Dehradun to handle immediate troubleshooting requests if a vehicle gets stuck.
