Job Description
Kavro Media LLP is looking for a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer who can handle projects from scratch to advanced optimization. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge of WordPress, performance optimization, and custom development.
You will be responsible for building high-performance, SEO-friendly, and scalable websites that align with modern standards and Google requirements (Search + Discover).
- Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage custom WordPress websites from scratch
- Work with themes like GeneratePress, Astra, Elementor, GenerateBlocks
- Create and customize WordPress plugins (custom functionality)
- Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, and performance
- Implement SEO best practices (schema, structured data, clean HTML)
- Handle technical SEO setups (RankMath, sitemap, indexing issues)
- Fix bugs, errors, and security vulnerabilities
- Work with APIs, automation tools, and integrations
- Manage hosting environments (VPS, Cloudflare, CDN, caching systems)
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
- Required Skills:Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
- Experience in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of custom post types, hooks, filters
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, GenerateBlocks)
- Strong understanding of website speed optimization
- Familiarity with SEO tools (RankMath, schema, indexing)
- Experience with hosting (VPS, CyberPanel, cPanel, Cloudflare)
- Basic knowledge of security & malware fixing (important)
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently
- Bonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):Experience with Python, automation tools (Playwright, APIs)
- Knowledge of Google Discover optimization
- Experience with multi-site or bulk content management systems
- Understanding of AI content workflows
