Job Description

Job Title: Accountant with Billing and Cash Management Responsibilities


Department: Accountant


Location: Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana


We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role involves managing the financial aspects of the company, including accounting, billing, and cash management, to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our financial systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Accounting:
  2. Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  3. Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  4. Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  5. Billing:
  6. Generate and send accurate invoices to clients or customers based on agreed-upon terms and services rendered.
  7. Address client inquiries and discrepancies related to billing, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  8. Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables, ensuring timely payments.
  9. Cash Management:
  10. Manage daily cash flow by monitoring and forecasting cash requirements.
  11. Maintain and reconcile petty cash funds.
  12. Prepare and deposit incoming cash and checks to the bank in a timely manner.
  13. Financial Reporting:
  14. Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
  15. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  16. Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making.
  17. Compliance:
  18. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies.
  19. Prepare and file tax returns and other financial compliance documents as required.
  20. Audit Support:
  21. Assist with annual financial audits by providing accurate and organized financial data to auditors.
  22. Implement audit recommendations and improve internal controls as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in accounting, billing, and cash management roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
