Accountant

We are hiring a full-time Accountant for our office located in Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi, seeking a detail-oriented professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The role offers a salary as per industry standards and requires strong expertise in GST, Customs Duty, and Income Tax regulations. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements, while ensuring complete statutory compliance across all financial and taxation matters. Key responsibilities include handling GST filings and reconciliations (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), managing customs duty documentation and import/export accounting, and preparing as well as filing income tax and TDS returns. The role also involves conducting periodic tax audits, assisting with statutory audits, reconciling accounts payable and receivable, monitoring bank and vendor accounts, and ensuring timely submission of all statutory reports. Additionally, the candidate will liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities, prepare MIS reports, support financial planning and analysis, and stay updated with evolving taxation laws and accounting standards. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, possess strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and Customs compliance, and demonstrate proficiency in Tally, ERP/accounting software, and MS Excel, along with solid bookkeeping expertise, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.
