Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting functions, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, GST refunds, and hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally and Marg. The role requires accuracy, analytical thinking, and the ability to support management with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Manage day-to-day accounting operations and complete bookkeeping

·        Prepare, reconcile, and maintain financial data, ledgers, and statements

·        Perform financial data preparation, reconciliation, and budgeting activities

·        Conduct financial analysis to support management decision-making

·        Track, analyse, and follow up on GST refunds, ensuring timely reconciliation and closure

·        Maintain and monitor expense tracking, cost control, and expense analysis

·        Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently

·        Maintain purchase, sales, cash, and bank records

·        Generate invoices, monitor collections, and follow up on outstanding payments

·        Prepare and file GST returns and ensure statutory compliance

·        Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

·        Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation during audits

·        Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations

Required Skills & Competencies:

·        Strong working knowledge of  Marg, Tally and other accounting software

·        B. Com, M. Com and Relevant qualification required.

·        In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation basics

·        Proficiency in MS Excel (reconciliation, reports, and analysis)

·        Strong analytical, budgeting, and problem-solving skills

·        High level of accuracy and attention to detail

·        Good communication and coordination skills

·        Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
