Accountant

Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide accurate reporting to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be proficient in statutory compliances and skilled in maintaining robust financial records.

• Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & ReportingFinancial Statements: Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements with high accuracy.
• General Ledger: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Reconciliations: Perform regular account reconciliations (Bank, Vendor, Customer, and Inter-company) to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Statutory ComplianceGST Management: Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including the preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns. Ensure timely reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with purchase records.
• Payroll & Labor Laws: Handle ESI and PF administration, including timely computation, deduction, and filing of monthly challans and returns to ensure full compliance with labor laws.
• Systems & OperationsTally Proficiency: Expert-level utilization of Tally Prime/ERP 9 for voucher entry, reporting, inventory management, and financial analysis.
• Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary schedules, documents, and explanations for auditors.
• Tax Planning: Support the management in tax computation and assist in the timely filing of Income Tax returns (TDS/TCS compliances).
