Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive B2B sales and business development within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manufacturing industry sales, with experience in the plastic, plywood, laminates, or related industrial sectors. The role involves managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and strengthening customer relationships.
- Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory sales targets.
- Identify and acquire new B2B customers in the manufacturing sector.
- Manage and grow relationships with distributors, dealers, OEMs, and industrial customers.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy customer accounts.
- Candidate RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of B2B sales experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Mandatory experience in Plastic, Plywood, Laminates, Adhesives, Building Materials, or related industrial products.
- Strong network within industrial and manufacturing customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
